The Cotton Club

|
From its beginning
in 1923, the Cotton Club gained worldwide notoriety for
booking the finest musical entertainment and was home for
legendary greats, including Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway,
Ethel Waters and Lena Horne. The Club, since its
reopening in December 1977, continues to live up to its star
studded legacy. The jewel of the Cotton Club is the
Cotton Club All Stars - two separate power packed bands
including a 13 piece Swing and 7 piece Blues and Jazz Band.
The bandleaders as well as the members are legends in the
music field. Male and female vocalists, who have
earned their own stripes as well, accompany both bands.
The ensembles have gained a loyal worldwide audience and the
Cotton Club continues to receive rave reviews.
Only at All That Jazz can you experience the legendary
sounds of New York's 7-piece Cotton Club All-Stars Jazz Band
with soloist, Ann Sinclair here in Macon.
