An organization is only as strong as its volunteers – and we want YOU!

Our museum is currently seeking candidates for our Tubman Ambassador Program.

This is an opportunity to become a part of “Team Tubman” through exemplary service and professional leadership.

Adults can assist at events, forums, and work as docents. This is a perfect opportunity for someone retired, a stay at home mom, or for those passionate about African American art, history, and culture.

For students, there is a rigorous screening process. Students who will be considered will meet the following criteria:

Currently enrolled in middle school, high school, or college
Demonstrates academic excellence (at least a 2.75) and a positive attitude
Interest in using or developing public speaking skills
There are a limited number of spaces available, please contact tparkeroutley@tubmanmuseum.com for more information.

Internships are available also. Categories include: Museum Studies, African American Studies, Art, Art Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Non profit/Public administration, Education, etc.
