David Gaither is an Atlanta-based artist. He is currently exploring a visual movement he has termed Maximalism, in which he employs intricate shapes and ultra-saturated colors to make paintings that blur the boundaries between abstract and figurative painting. A self-taught painter, Gaither began making art at the age of three. He has exhibited his works in solo and group shows in the U.S. and abroad. He says that his art “is all about experimentation and evolution, breaking limits to establish new paradigms.” The opening reception for this exhibit is on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
