Join the Tubman Museum as we officially open “David Gaither: Growth & Expansion” on May 20th.
David Gaither is an Atlanta-based artist who currently explores a visual movement he calls “Maximalism,” with which he employs intricate shapes and ultra-saturated colors to make paintings that blur the boundaries between abstract and figurative painting. Gaither says that his art, “is all about experimentation and evolution, breaking limits to establish new paradigms.”
A self-taught painter, Gaither began making art at the age of three. He has exhibited his works in solo and group shows in the United States and abroad.
