You are invited to a luncheon at the Tubman Museum to honor the professional accomplishments and many contributions to the Macon community of Mr. James Caldwell. For his pioneering career as an educator, and his ongoing support of the Tubman, the Museum is pleased to present James Caldwell with the Tubman Museum Act of Courage Award, the institution’s highest honor.
This event is also the public celebration of the exhibit My Journey in Art which features a selection of works from Caldwell’s extensive collection of Fine Art. James Caldwell has been an enthusiastic collector of art for 20 years, and a supporter of the Tubman Museum for even longer. What makes My Journey even more special is that Caldwell has designated that all the works on exhibit shall be donated to the Tubman Museum. My Journey in Art will remain on exhibit at the Tubman through October 15, 2022.
Please join us at the Tubman Museum as we celebrate the life and career of one of Macon’s most distinguished educators. James Caldwell is a man who has not only had a significant impact on the Tubman Museum, but has been a constant, wise, and always positive influence in the day-to-day life of this community.
