Michael A. Carson, a local Best Selling, Award Winning Author in the Atlanta Area recently released a new publication that he co-authored with his 11-year-old son Matthew, titled “African-American Musicians That Changed Music Forever.” They collaborated on this publication during the summer of 2020 while being home during the Pandemic. They were recently featured on WSBTV Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta and nationally on BET’s website.
To celebrate African American Music Appreciation Month in June, and in partnership the Tubman Museum, Mr. Carson will donate several copies of his book “African-American Musicians That Changed Music Forever” (which highlights 100 legendary artists) to our visitors on June 6 during the concert.
