Manifestations of an Artistic Mind
This special exhibition feature a selection of works by the Atlanta-based painter Steve R. Allen. Allen is a self-taught artist who began painting in 1992. Known for his bold use of color and for working in a myriad of styles, Allen has built an international career as an exhibiting artist. He has created commissioned works for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and has works in international collections, as well as the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC.
