40th ANNIVERSARY

Where Hope Became a Reality, 40 Years and Growing.

Join us at the Macon Centreplex, as we drum up a lot of excitement, entertainment and fun at our Pan African Festival of Georgia, as the festival prepares for another successful year, with something that everyone in the family will enjoy.

The 2022 Pan African Festival will be bigger and better than ever and we’re planning it full of jam-packed activities — music, dance, food, art, storytelling and food trucks — and the return of the Children’s Village.

This family friendly event will feature delicious Caribbean and Soul Food options and food from all around the World for your dining pleasure. There also will be unique goods for purchase, as well as local and regional artists and artisans who will showcase their works for purchase.

Featuring

Jeffrey Osbourne and Isaiah Tatum on Saturday, April 23rd
Byron Cage and Karen Clark Sheard on Sunday, April 24th

The festival will take place in the parking lot of the Macon Centreplex. This will allow for a safer environment, outdoors with social distancing, for the benefit of all attendees.

The festival will include regional and local artists, musicians and performers who will entertain the crowds.

About The Pan African Festival of Georgia
Founded in 1996, by artist and community leader, Chi Ezekwueche, this festival is one of the Tubman Museum’s signature events. Enjoy the celebration, the experience, and the presentations of music, dance, food, film, art, and spoken word, as we explore the dynamic and diverse cultures created from the African Diaspora. This weekend community event celebrates African influences from around the world, is open to all and is formed around the principles of Love, Peace, Unity and Hope.
