Tubman Museum Hosts Reception to Celebrate Exhibition by Local Painter
On Friday, February 14, 2020 the Tubman Museum will host a reception to celebrate the exhibition Richard Powell: Recent Works. Richard Powell is an accomplished artist at home working in a variety of media and styles. He has won awards in international juried exhibitions, including the prestigious American Art Awards exhibition. This exhibition features works selected from his Hip Hop Royalty series of portraits, as well as his Colors series of abstract paintings. This is Richard’s first solo museum exhibition.
