The Tubman African American Museum seeks to align with community organizations, businesses, and institutions of learning through our education programs and services. The mission of the Tubman Museum is to educate people about African American art, history, and culture and to promote harmony among all races. In order to fulfill that mission, we realize that we must not be bound by the walls of our building. We must also place focus on outreach into our community and bring the museum resources to them. We provide education and cultural enrichment here at the beautiful Tubman Museum, virtually (online), and at local schools. We are motivated by the results we have experienced thus far in our various outreach initiatives and programs, and it is already clear that our approach is meeting many of the critical needs and challenges facing schools, teachers, and students. Let us help you meet the needs of your group/students by creating a package that best serves you. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
